 ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Description

The City of Randleman (pop 4,400), located approximately 15 miles south of Greensboro in Randolph County, North Carolina is seeking an Accounting Technician/Administrative Assistant to join our progressive organization.  Responsibilities include accounts payable, purchase order processing, and maintaining vendor listing and capital assets. Position also performs advanced analytical reporting, support for financial reporting/audits, serves as back-up for phone, front desk, and utility billing collections, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in accounting or related field required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting or another related field, preferable.  Considerable experience in an accounting or fiscal office environment (preference given to local government experience and Certified Local Government Purchasing Officer certification) and Advanced Excel proficiency.  CMC designation a plus. 

Salary

Dependent upon experience and education.
