BUILDING & GROUNDS

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Description

The City of Randleman (pop 4,400), located approximately 15 miles south of Greensboro in Randolph County, North Carolina is seeking a Building and Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our progressive organization.  Responsibilities include ensuring the proper working order of the City's facilities and community areas and providing maintenance services for the City's departments.  Work includes but is not limited to inspecting facilities and equipment, performing routine servicing of equipment, installing equipment, building maintenance, landscaping, and assembling and disassembling equipment, and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

Graduation from high school or GED equivalency is required.  Vocation and technical training in maintenance, and some experience in maintenance work preferred.

Special Requirements

Valid North Carolina Driver’s License; Position does require some special physical requirements (see attached position description for details).

Hiring Salary

$22,932.00 - $25,798.74

Parks and Rec. Groundskeeper

Description

The City of Randleman (pop 4,400), located approximately 15 miles south of Greensboro in Randolph County, North Carolina is seeking an Community Center Attendant to join our progressive organization.  Responsibilities include landscaping, mowing, maintaining various city parks, playing fields and the Randleman Community Center and performing other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

Graduation from high school or GED equivalency is required.  May have to have the ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20-50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.  See full job description here.
