The Randleman Police Department has installed a medication drop box designed for prescription medication. The drop box was provided by the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators. The boxes are designed for people to drop off their expired and/or no longer needed medication. According to recent statistics, more than seven million Americans currently abuse prescription drugs.

Our medicine drop box is located in the lobby of the Police Administrative Building and is monitored by video surveillance. The drop box is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

We ask that no needles be placed in the drop box.
